Come along to one of our Annual Open Weekends in early September to enjoy a tour of the site, meet the archaeologists
and see what has been found for yourself.
Become a Friend of the Mellor Archaeological Trust
support the work and receive regular news of developments and events.
 
Become a Volunteer on the Mellor Heritage Project

Work on the site itself during the excavation period in the six weeks from late July through August each year.
A rare opportunity which is open to anyone over 16, from complete novices to serious students of archaeology.
Training and supervision given by our own experienced Team and staff from the University of Manchester Archaeological Unit.
