After what felt like several weeks of constant rain we faced the Open Weekend with trepidation. Although it was very wet underfoot, however, Saturday stayed reasonably dry and although Sunday brought rain, it also brought a total of almost a thousand people over the weekend, many returning year after year, to see the progress of the excavation.
